Frequently Asked Questions
Starting therapy often comes with questions. Here are a few things that may be helpful to know before getting started.
-
Yes. I offer a complimentary 20 minute phone consultation for prospective clients. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, answer questions about working together, and determine whether we may be a good fit.
-
The first step is scheduling a complimentary 20 minute consultation. If we decide to move forward together, you’ll receive access to the secure client portal where you can complete your intake paperwork and schedule your initial therapy assessment.
-
That’s completely okay. You do not need to know exactly what to say, have everything figured out, or arrive with perfectly defined therapy goals. We’ll begin by exploring what brings you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might feel different.

Amplify Your Narrative is a private pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. If your insurance plan includes out of network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your therapy costs. Superbills are available upon request, and optional support through Mentaya is also available.
Visit the Fees & Payment page for additional information.
-
All therapy sessions are currently offered virtually through a secure telehealth platform. You must be physically located in a state where I am authorized to practice at the time of your session.
