“Therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale.”

Hi, I’m Trinity. I’m a Louisiana native who found my way to Colorado by way of Cambridge, Massachusetts, where I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Drama Therapy from Lesley University. My path into this work has shaped my belief that therapy can be thoughtful, creative, and deeply human. I believe there is more than one way to tell, understand, and reclaim your story.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy.

Many people come to therapy believing they should already know how to handle what they’re going through. You may feel like you should be stronger, less affected, more certain, or better at holding everything together.

But sometimes the ways we learned to cope, protect ourselves, or meet other people’s expectations can make it difficult to recognize what we need now. Therapy gives us space to notice those patterns without judgment.

You don’t have to arrive with the right words or a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what feels present and make sense of it together.

My role isn’t to tell you who to be. It’s to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with the parts of you that may have gotten lost beneath expectations or survival, and create more room for choice in how you move forward.

Why I became a counselor

I’ve always been drawn to stories. The ones we tell openly, the ones we carry quietly, and the ones that have been shaped by what other people have said about us.

I also know what it means for your story to feel silenced, misunderstood, or even weaponized against you. Those experiences shaped the way I understand the power of being truly heard. They taught me that our stories matter, but so does having the space to tell them in our own words, make meaning of what we have lived through, and decide what we want the next chapter to hold.

That belief is at the heart of Amplify Your Narrative. Therapy with me is not about someone else defining your experience or telling you who you should become. It is about creating space for your voice, your perspective, and the parts of your story that deserve to be understood with greater compassion and curiosity.

I believe deeply in connection and empathy, and in what can become possible when you have the right people in your corner. Sometimes healing begins with having someone beside you who can hold space for where you have been while helping you imagine where you might go next.

You are the author of your story. My role is to help you find the space, support, and courage to amplify it.

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, human, and grounded in connection.

What It’s Like to Work Together

I’m warm, down to earth, and deeply invested in the people I work with. I also believe good therapy requires honesty.

My approach is what I sometimes think of as no BS therapy. I’m not interested in sitting back, nodding, and leaving you alone with the same patterns week after week. I’ll listen. I’ll hold space. I’ll laugh with you. I’ll sit with you in the hard things. And when something needs to be challenged, I’m going to challenge it.

I believe there is a difference between being supported and being rescued. Therapy can offer compassion, safety, and connection while still asking something of you. If you are ready to shift, I will be in your corner, but I will also encourage you to take ownership of the work that belongs to you.

My work is also deeply human and informed by my own sense of spirituality, connection, creativity, and meaning. There is room here for the parts of you that do not fit neatly into a clinical box.

Together, we:

  • get curious about the stories and patterns that keep showing up

  • name the things you have gotten really good at avoiding

  • explore what belongs to you and what you have been carrying for other people

  • reconnect with your voice, values, identity, and sense of self

  • practice doing something differently, not just talking about doing something differently

I’m not here to rewrite your story for you. I’m here to help you take the pen back.

My Approach

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, human, and honest.

My style is warm and down to earth, but I’m also direct. I’m not a sit back, nod, and let you talk in circles kind of therapist. I’ll hold space for what you’re carrying, and I’ll also challenge you when I notice avoidance, patterns, or stories that may be keeping you stuck.

I believe in compassion without hand holding. You can expect empathy, curiosity, humor, and sometimes a little push when you need it. Therapy is your space, but the work belongs to both of us.

My approach integrates trauma informed care, EMDR, somatic practices, and creative and expressive therapies. Spirituality, meaning, identity, culture, and connection can also have a place in our work when they are meaningful to you.

Ultimately, I’m less interested in asking you to become someone different and more interested in helping you shift. Shift the patterns that no longer serve you. Shift the way you relate to yourself. Shift the stories you have inherited or been given. And reclaim the power to decide what comes next.
